HOW DO WE GET RID OF THE GEESE?

These beautiful Canada Geese were grazing happily on the green by the lake on 8-11-08. They are a beautiful nuisance, because they generously leave their "calling cards" all over this commons area --and these "calling cards" are messy and unsanitary for our children and pets playing in the grass, and for us, too.
Our problem: how do we "goose" the geese humanely and safely, so that they will leave our area, at least until next year. If you know of a way to do this, send your suggestion to our Home Owners Asso. (HOA) Board by clicking on the link below:

N-S PARKWAY POSITIONS STATED TO BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

According to the Aug. 6 edition of the Village News, on July 30, Dr. Robert Owens, president, presented the Chester Community Association's (CCA) position on the new North-South Parkway to the county Board of Supervisors. The CCA is asking for a design for this four lane, divided road that would include lower speeds (30 - 35 MPH), roundabouts at intersections, pedestrian accessibility, and provide space for a state-of-the-art walking trail.
Our Supervisor, Dorothy Jaeckle, agrees with the CCA's assessment of the road design and is optimistic about the outcome of the design.
The road will border our Chester Village Green development.
