LAST ALLEYWAY SEALING MAY BE COMPLETED NOV. 20 - 21

"I know you have heard this before, but the vendor just called and informed me that the alley ways are dry and tomorrow forecast is warm enough for him to finish the sealing project. He is planning to start at about 7:30 AM. Therefore, if your garage is on one of those alley ways that has not been sealed, you need to move your car to the street by 7:30 AM tomorrow and park on the street tomorrow night. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate.

Please advise any neighbor who does not receive these emails."

REPAIRS TO OUR STREETS, SIDEWALKS, CURBS, ETC.

This is the latest correspondence between the State's Resident engineer, the developer of Chester Village Green, and our Association concerning repairs to the streets, etc., being turned over to the State by the Developer.

Report on the Home Owners' Association Board Meeting, Nov. 12

The meeting took place in the Village Hall at 7:00 PM. Board members present

(L - R): Robert Tierney (Vice Pres.), Jack Mayer (Secretary-Treasurer), Howard Corey (President), and Association Manager, Florence Harrison. The meeting was attended by a dozen or so home owners.

1) The Board approved a proposal to complete the fencing behind the three homes on the East side of Village Garden Drive, opposite Village Garden Circle. The fencing had been promised by the developer, and is necessary for security reasons to eliminate potentially dangerous tresspassing. In addition, if the Architectural Review Committee approves, the home owners may plant thorny bushes along the fence line after it is installed.

2) Treasurer's budget report: Expenses have begun to eat away at the Association's cash reserves. The HOA will hold a special budget meeting on Tue., Dec. 2, 7:00 pm., in the Chester Library.

3) The Annual Meeting will be held in January at the library to approve the annual budget and any proposed By-Law changes. Date to be announced.

4) Our new CVG Directory will be printed this month. One copy will be distributed to each home in December.

5) The Board is currently re-negotiating the snow (!) removal section of lour contract with Unlimited Landscaping.

6) Home solicitations: Those home owners who do not want solicitors coming to their front doors should place a "No Solicitation" sign on their doors. (Signs are not allowed in yards without premission from the Architectural Review Committee.)

HOA BOARD MEETING NOVEMBER 12

The monthly meeting of our HOA Board will be held Wed., Nov. 12, 7:00 pm, in the Center for the Arts office (the Village Hall). All homeowners are invited.

UPDATE ON POND FOUNTAIN REPAIR

The pump for the fountain had to be shipped to PA for repair.They have received the pump, but it is going to take 1 to 2 weeks for them to repair and then an additional week for them to get it shipped back to us.

SEALING OUR ALLEY WAYS DELAYED AGAIN

On Thursday, October 30,2008, the paving company began sealing the alley ways bordering the two common areas behind the houses on Village Creek Drive, Village Park Drive, Village Garden Drive and Chester Village Drive.

The other six alley ways will be sealed as soon as weather permits.
