Chesterfield County has reduced emergency water-use restrictions to mandatory restrictions, effective Oct. 13, that do allow limited outside water use for landscaping and other purposes, allowing county residents and businesses to return to mandatory restrictions due to recent rainfall and water customers’ cooperation to significantly reduce water use in recent weeks.
