Home Owners: Note the Following About Lawns, Weeds, Bushes, Sprinklers, and Alley Sealing

Howard Corey, Presiddent of our HOA sends the following message:

Gary and the Unlimited crew will be trimming bushes this week. Gary has been working with the crew to ensure that the trimming is performed in a correct and professional manner.


Starting Aug. 30, we will turn the sprinklers off and trim the alleyways so that the Paving Company can seal them this Friday and Saturday. If  hurricane Earl co-operates and we are able to seal. All residents are asked to park on in your garages or the street Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

We would really appreciate each of you providing this info to your neighbor on each side.

Because we have had a number of complaints concerning the lawns, Florence (356-7999) and I (454-0602) will will be taking a more active approach until the problems with the sprinklers, weeds and bushes are care for. If you are having any lawn problems or request, please advise either of us.

Rezoning Returns to Supervisors' Agenda

At an adjourned meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 25, at 6:30 p.m. in the Public Meeting Room at the
Chesterfield Administration Building, 10001 Iron
Bridge Road, the Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on the following matter:
 
In the Bermuda District, Emerson-Roper Companies, LLC requests rezoning and amendment of the zoning district map from agricultural (A) to community business (C-3) with conditional use to permit multifamily use plus conditional use planned development to permit exceptions to ordinance requirements on 5 acres fronting approximately 290 feet on the north line of Chester Village Drive at Village Creek Drive. The Comprehensive Plan suggests the property is appropriate for neighborhood mixed use uses.

Be Entertained While Shopping at the Farmers' Market

A band entertains shoppers at our Farmers' Market, 7-31-10. The organizers of the market are very please with the turn out of both vendors and shoppers this summer. The market continues every Saturday, 9:00 - 1:00, through October.

Dominion Power Promises to Fix Street Lights

"I have reported the street lights that are out to Dominion Power, they imformed me that there is a back log on getting to these lights, due to the electrical storms. They are having to work on homes and businesses. Please be patient, I have the work order numbers and calling Dominion Power weekly. Please let me know when the lights are fixed.


Right now I have reported 5 street lights out or flickering."
